It's an entry threshold. Indefinitely sustaining
your current lifestyle without the necessity to
work.

That's "filthy stinking" rich. You're still limited by the resources
of the current global economy, of course. If I want, say, to build a gadget
half an lighthour across, needing the entire solar output I obviously
won't get that wish fullfilled in the next decade, or so.
