I heartily concur about the need for goodwill. I *would* like to post my response to silklist. My responses to the Admin comments are below. I have posted them to my own List in case this gets moderated out. Basically, I have not posted anything here for the last week. I have barely been posting anything here for the last 2 weeks. I do not know what needs explanation.
I sent the two emails below to Suresh and Udhay. Anand Linkback :+: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/indo-euro-americo-asian_list/message/564 == Dear moderators: I have nothing really to say about these emails for which I was not responsible. If there are any questions, they should be directed to the person who sent them. Anand == Hi Suresh, my friend, if I may, Good evening. I have not posted anything here for the last week. Even over the last 2 weeks, I have barely posted anything here. There were a couple of questions by Nikhil Mehra and Shiv on the reasons for my posts. These came many hours after I made the post. Well before this email, I had already posted an explanation on my List about my previous posts. This was *before* there was any question of trolling. I don't want to post anything on silklist in any case. I believe in transparency, and thanks to this List, you can see exactly how all the discussions over the last 2 or 3 months have gone. If you could let me know what needs explanation exactly, that would be appreciated. I have been pretty patient with all the comments here. I have received zero comments on trolling and would appreciate an explanation. I have posted for the past 12-18 months or so at Crooked Timnber, which is one of the most influential blogs in the world. The discussion there is quite classy and if there were any question at all of me being improper in terms of Internet etiquette, I would have been banned a long time ago. I think I do know about proper Internet etiquette. I was intending to talk about the industrial organization model of above average returns and cricket, and make one or two points about the Subramanian Swamy article as well. I am not planning to talk about any of that just because things are getting strange. You can read my List if you like, but even otherwise, there is no lack of transparency on my part.
