have searched the net for hours trying to find anything about
silver metabolism... so far not a thing has turned up.
except that some forms of microorganisms concentrate it in conjuction
with sulfur... even posted a question to a soil science mailing list.

I believe the greatest concentrations are..epithelial and lymphoid
tissue.

Again haven't been able to find anything on silver metabolism.
Not sure what/where the intracellular/extracellular distribution is.
With out some reference to the contrary, it would probably be
reasonable (but not necessarily correct ) to assume that its
intracellular distribution is similar to other transition metals and
has some effect on one electron transfers within the mitochondria

every fluid compartment in the body is in equillibrium with every
other fluid compartment. plasma concentration affects intracellular
concentration, affects intramitochondrial concentration, albeit
through a series of membranes... and active/pasive transport mechanisms.
the question for me is where is the basic research on silver
metabolism... and from there maybe we can get some clue as to how it
works ( to satisfy our heads) and make a theory that fits observed
fact(silver works).

Also would like to note that both selenium and arsenic can be
metabolic poisons and are also essential elements.

every element is in relation to every other..
To quote Duncan McCloud of the Clan McCloud " in the end there is
one" ( but first we have to lose our heads)
