Just to confirm and remind everyone: If you push the reply button on most mail programs, you will now be sending your reply back to the whole list.
If you want your message to be private to the author of the original message, either edit the To: line manually, or choose whatever other options your mail program provides. ALLWAYS CHECK THE TO: AND CC: FIELDS BEFORE CLICKING SEND!! Please! I am using Pegasus Mail and love it. My mail comes in and is filtered to distribute it to separate "folders" for each mailing list I'm subscribed to. My main in basket only gets the e-mail directly addressed to me, or for which I don't have a filter set up. The same function could be used as a "twit filter" if I so chose. This kind of feature makes e-mail lists almost as easy as usenet newsgroups! I believe Eudora does this too. I don't know about Netscape or MS Explorer. For the benefit of any other folks who have a hard time dealing with the clutter and muddle in their in-basket, does your e-mail program have similar features? Maybe we can swap tips on setting them up. If it get's too busy, we'll take it off line, of course! Thank you everyone.
