As odd as it seems one can actually injure themselves using a rebounder.
And I'm not talking about obvious things such as flying off it, stepping
on the edge, or breakage of the rebounder frame or stitching. My
stepfather who was quite old very enthusiastically took up rebounding
and managed to compress his vertebrae somehow. I think I created or
aggravated a case of plantars fasciitis on my foot by running in place
somewhat vigorously (as recommended in the instructions) without shoes
on. I would tend to recommend wearing soft soled shoes too, but I don't
think that gentle bouncing is a problem unless you are very fragile or
extremely overweight.

So, be careful, especially starting out, and good bouncing to you...

Dan

Can it be used with shoes on? If so, would that not alleviate the
problem?
