eeeek, first off all read up on the medication this is a good start: http://www.neurontin.com/information/ this medications uses include helping with neuropathic usually related to shingles, and for patients that have partial seizures, it is also now used to treat bi-polar, and are several other anti-seizure medications. I have a bad internet connection right now and couldn't load the full information, but take a look at the side effects and by all means, even with out looking at that if you are sure that it is making the swelling worse, get her back into the Dr and let them know its making making matters worse not better.
man sometimes I really hate medications...they really seem to take the issue and make it harder to find the root cause of the problem, I haven't added any suggestions as to what to try because it looks like the list has given you some good things to try out. I hope there are some things that work. Meg'gan On 8/7/07, Carl Deb Charter <carl...@charter.net> wrote: > > > > Anyone have any ideas on how to deal with severe burning feet in an elderly > woman?
