Eat it. Fillet the skin off the leaves, but do that over newspaper because
the liquid that is between the skin and the inner gel will stain everything
it touches. Rinse that gooey liquid off of the clear inner gel, then eat the
gel or put it in a smoothie. If you don't rinse that liquid off, you will
have a massive bathroom visit very quickly. Other than that, the gel is
exceedingly good for you.

And once again, don't let that liquid touch anything you want to keep. First
it turns bright yellow, then grey. It will stain a cutting board and take
many months to come out.

Subject: CS>What can I do with an over-large aloe vera plant?

I have a very large aloe vera plant that I have been growing for several
years. It is getting over-large for it's pot, and because of the weather it
can't be planted outdoors, etc.

Is there some way I can process it?

How should I use it up, since I don't want to waste it?

Dan
