Can you explain the reasoning behind the warming of milk at bedtime? Does it enhance the activity of tryptophan?
I personally enjoy 5-Hydroxy-Tryptophan 5-HTP which is 10 times more effective than plain tryptophan... according to all I have read. Health food stores usually sell the 5-HTP extracted from Griffonia... a legume which is native to Africa, or at least is the source location now. Extracted 5-HTP is much safer in regards to the microbiological fermentation process utilized to make tryptophan. I trust Nature's organic synthesis techniques over and above anyone else I have met. -----Original Message----- From: James Vernon, Allison <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Thursday, July 08, 1999 2:06 PM Subject: Re: CS>[CS] DMSO as transport mech >> >2) Some people might be interested to learn that >> >L-Tryptophan is available from the same kinds of >> >sources - just be sure and DON'T tell them you are >> >buying it for your OWN consumption.
