The time I used 90v with 10 batteries snapped together the arching was
very weak. This time using the 30v power adapter the arc was strong and
as I mentioned the gold disintegrated. There was a fine gold powder at
the bottom of the glass. When I switched to the 13.5v the arching was
more like when I was using the batteries. I should mention that the
adapter would turn itself off occasionally when it got to warm. As for
the differences in voltages I assume the adapter has higher amperage
accounting for the stronger arc. You can purchase 24k gold wire through
your local jeweler. Also yes I had tyndal and checking a day later still
had tyndal.

Tom,
Is that correct, at 30v the gold dissintergrated and at 13v it arced
and created colloids? How odd, considering you did it with 90v
earlier.
 Was there Tyndall?
Also, what grade of gold wire, and where do you get it?
Inquiring minds want to know!!!!
