Get a hair anylysis. That should tell you your retained load.
BTW "3 PPM" is meaningless whithout factoring in how much in volume,
going into what volume.
A teaspoon at 3 PPM is whole lot different than a bucket full.
Arsenic is an "element", a metal ......similar to Phosphorous.
