Hi Group;
I was taking 1gram of D3 twice a day. Had blood work done and found my vit. D level was 17 (Quite low). My Dr. said take two twice a day. Retested after about six weeks and Vit. D level was 34. Doc. said take four grams twice a day. I test again in Sept. or Nov. All that to say, yes, D3 will bring your levels up. Hope that helps.

I was found deficient and my doctor told me to take 1000 mg twice a day. Now that it's warm, I try to lie in the sun for 20 to 30 minutes 3 times a week. I'll have a blood test early in July to see if that's been enough.
