The preparations with enzymes will keep the smell down. Many odor products
for pets urine are based on enzymes.

The enzymes "digest the urine" the CS kills the bacteria that caused the
smell but does not get rid of the actual urine like the enzymes do.

Subject: CS>Re: killing organic odors with EIS

A stray tom cat has decided he wants to live in our yard and on the deck.
He has sprayed just about every square inch of the perimeter of the outside
of our home and garage. We're mixing 10PPM EIS with a few drops of dish
soap and using this combo to wet everything down. It has greatly reduced
the odor. I suspect in the few spots where we can smell, that it dried too
quickly.

Any thoughts on how I can improve this solution and how long it would be
effective once the soap is added (shelf life)?

I work for a kitchen and bath remodeling company. Our crews have to deal
with some nasty smelling spots in homes from time to time. It would be
great to keep a gallon of this on the trucks that they could use.
Thanks for anything you can share, Lin
