Art; Color has almost nothing to do with ppm but it is a crude gage of particle size. The darker the larger. Take a lesson from the big commercial High Voltage CS sellers. They have dropped the bucks necessry to have the particles size measures ($100.00 per test) And they all say that the HVACcs is colorless and small particle. So I take the position that clear is small. I will know by the end of the month as I will have my polarity switching colorless CS tested at a major university.
Don't believe the run of the mill posts on this list. Just ask the poster how much data do you have in you files? If the makers are not measuring currents and plotting data from lot to lot, then is it purely subjective.
