I keep oral CS dose very low for rabbits (1 to 2 TBS to a quart of
water). For nebulizing and topical uses such as ear drops or eye
misting, or wound care, I do use it undiluted.
I have had an email or two from people who use much higher oral doses,
but frankly, I didn't want to conduct LD 50 tests on my pets. Rabbits
have a large fermenting chamber, full of liquid and umpteen strains of
all kinds and types of bacteria so a lot of oral CS could possibly kill
off enough of their gut bacteria to cause dysbiosis and death. This is
how/why many oral antibiotics are fatal for rabbits.
