Hi, Steve, I used the Duoflex brand and it worked wonderfully! (I also no longer drink milk, and since I learned that trick, I have no more joint pains or snapping knees.) I gave a canine brand of CMO (Cetyl M) to my 9 year old Pug, who was limping a lot and sleeping most of the day, now she is much more active and playful. Hope this will help! Marshalee
