I bought some 'spring water' in ~half-liter bottles and used them. These are the same hard, clear, thin PETE plastic that soda pop comes in, but with only water in them, a couple of simple rinses with distilled water is enough to make them ready to use. There are concerns with leaching from plastic, PETE included. These are pretty good in that regard, but not perfect. They have the virtue of being inexpensive and easily available. Be well, Mike D.
