## It's a house hold mineral deposit remover for *Calcium, Lime and Rust* [CLR] Mostly Phosphoric Acid [as in Coca Cola and Navel...er...Naval Jelly] Many toiler bowl cleaners will work..containing Hydrochloric Acid [aka Muriatic Acid aka concrete cleaner from the Home Despot or Loweds Hardware masonry section] will do as well, but ....use that outside as the fumes are pretty obnoxious.

What happens is that the flexible parts of the ultrasonic transducer go rigid when a crust builds up on them.

Ultrasonic transducers seem to have this tendency of get crudded up and operate unevenly after a while.
Soaking the disk in 'CLR" or Muriatic Acid dissolves packed on minerals.
