Nenah,
You would have to check the settings in your computer.  I have nothing to do 
with that.  I have written to the list owner to see if there is a setting he 
can use for the read receipt.  This is the only list there seems to be a 
problem with.

  Whenever I delete your emails I get a message asking me if I'd like to send a 
receipt to you that lets you know I have deleted your email.

   

  I find this pop-up message rather annoying. Is there any way you can change
