NO! No iron unless previous complete blood iron panel with ferritin
shows it to be necessary. I say this because you did not distinguish
between women still having menses, and post menopausal women. Excess
iron is too risky to just start taking it without knowing one's iron
status, which requires a complete iron panel (total iron, hemoglobin,
hematocrit, transferrin saturation, ferritin) at the minimum.
