Glowing, Marygrace~ This is why when you are taking Lugol's iodine you should not take vitamin C close to the same time. It turns the elemental iodine into potassium iodide which is clear. It is not harmful, but it is not what you are trying to do when taking Lugol's which is a mixture of both elemental iodine and potassium iodide.
