Some sorts of plastic obviously are not dissolved by DMSO, and some are.

A pdf <http://www.arkema-inc.com/literature/pdf/361.pdf> from Atpfina
called "Dimethylsulfoxide: material compatibility" says:

"A few polymers can be recommended for prolonged contact with DMSO"
polyethylene, polypropylene, pentafluoroethylene (PTFE), Kalrez.  For
other polymers it is advisable to undertake compatibility tests.
