I've come across 2 manufacturers that are advocating the use of sodium bicarbonate(baking powder) cspro system and then sodium carbonate for the Silvertron Elite model.
Does anyone have any real experience doing this as everything I have read so far says not to use anything other than Distilled water? I know they are doing it to increase conductivity and say there is no reaction but I am still curious on what if any changes this really makes to the Ionic solution. I also know that this does raise the PH a bit which is a benefit. In the Silver Lungs machine it states that the PH is around 10 but they don't use any of the carbonates to increase it so I'm also curious on how that gets that high without the use of an additive. Any thought? -Bob
