before anyone can attempt to explain this, they need to know what sort of container you stored each of these three solutions in.
Were they all in virtually identical containers? Or were they somewhat different? Did they each hold the same volume of fluid? And, can anyone duplicate the results of this phenomenon? After that, perhaps a hypothesis can be attempted.
