i ordered a free TDS meter from them. they sell a water filtration system they claim will remove EVERYTHING except hydrogen and oxygen from the water. i'm getting one for a free trial to use for making cs. the rep said distillation somehow changes the structure of the water. uhhh? does it? Dennis 51/50 24/7 Dennis, The distilation process removes the TDS(total dissolved solids)only. It does not remove volatile organic chemicals. If you are interested in getting a water purifying system make sure they send you a spec. sheet and be sure their system is certified by the NSF(National Sanitation Foundation)an independent certifying organization that varifies the manufacturer' s claims. I went through all this years ago, because our area had contaminants-that fell into different catagories. Therefore, I ended up getting an NSF certified system that rids the water of all types of pollutants:It has three different filters, one that removes sediment, an RO membrane which removes the TDS, and a carbon filter that removes the VOC's.
