can I get the yellow CS?? >>

Wow, I am so glad you asked this question!! We are fairly new to cs
ourselves. I think we've been making it for about 6 months.
I usually take 16 ounces of water, heat it up in a pyrex cup that is sitting
in a pot w/water. I don't boil it, just get it very warm.
I add 1 - 2 drops saline soln. (with sea salt) to the entire cup.
I put the machine on (electric) for 8 minutes. I get a very pale grey/white
mist in the glass.
Then, I pour that into an empty (clean of course) brown bottle. I do not
refrigerate it.
It "lasts" on the counter for a long time. Well...it's gone within a week.
But in any case, my concern is that I am making a harmful product for my
family. If I mess myself up, that is bad enough, but I am very concerned
about what is "right". I have six children that are counting on me to be a
responsible parent and after being on this list and hearing "bad"things about
putting ANY sodium in there at all, I'm afraid to give it to them anymore,
and hurting them. So, I"ve been taking it and being my own guinea pig.

I did try to make it by warming the water (distilled, name brand, which tests
somewhat acidic for what it's worth), and adding NO saline soln at all. It
took a long time and I didn't "see" any color change in the water, but I did
see things happen on the electrodes. They got really gunky. But, we did
have cs that developed into golden color. It tasted quite bitter, too. But,
those "flakes/chunks/whatever that was" scared the heck out of me so I went
back to my original method.

But, sadly, I am not comfortable with any of it. I wish I knew for sure
what the right thing to do is. =-(

So.......I'm very glad you posted this. Hubby and I were just talking about
it.
