If distilled water does, then so does city, bottled and other filtered
water.  All of them are "soft" -- having little mineral content.

I'm unaware of any research that says our bodies get many minerals
from well or spring water.  It might be true *if the minerals are
colloidal,* but I suspect most minerals from these water sources
aren't.
