Yes you can use a wall transformer if you can get about 26+ volts DC. you might have to add a full wave bridge to get the desired voltage. Get the grocery store item the clear SOLO cup and make 14 to 16 oz at a time. Use 1/2" to 3/4" spacing with 3" to 4" wet length on the silver. Add constant stirring, use a digital mulitmeter to monitor the current so that you will know when to shut off. I am sure you will have questions, contact off list.
