Hi Tim; SCRAP all this nonsense about brown bottles or blue bottles.
I have some CS stored in clear 16 oz and 2 liter coke bottles from many months and there is no change. I have even put some out on the south back porch for three months and no change. If the CS is made right it will not settle out. Only the low grade stuff settles out. As to shelf life I don't think it has one if properly made.
