Yesterday around noon My riding mower picked up a length of flat
strapping steel spun it around and cut a deep wound into my foot.

I ran cold water into the gash, then used hydrogen peroxide and then
soaked it in CS for about 10 minutes. Since the wound was gapping and
bleeding rather badly, and after finding even the walk in clinics were
closed, I ended up glueing it shut with some super glue.

Last night it was too painful to sleep, so I made a TENs unit out of my
pulse generator and applied it. That did the trick real nicely. I
drunk lots of CS and used the zapper to elimiate any infections or
 tetanus bacteria.

This morning I had it stitched up by my doctor, who I had not seen in
over 10 years. He wanted to give me a tetanus shot, but I told him I
was taking plenty of CS, so would not need it. I did allow him to write
me a prescription for pennicillin though.

I think all is going to be ok now.

Marshall: Sorry to hear about your severe laceration. Since your wound
was/is rather large, wouldn't it be a good idea to get the tetanus shot
anyway. Suppose the CS does not come in contact with the entire wound then
you would be betting on the systemic ability of CS to attack the remaining
bacteria. According to Ivan's speculation, the window of CS's systemic
viability is rather limited. Aren't you taking an inappropriate risk? Roger
