I am not quite sure what my foot is doing. It was fine when the doc sewed
it up. But for the last 3 days it has been very swollen. It is better in
the morning, and tight as a drum when I am ready to go to bed. I am taking
penicillin 3 times a day, and a good bit of CS, and there is no evidence of
infection because the drain tube the doc installed is dry.

When I first get up, and the blood rushes to the foot, it really hurts, but
otherwise is normally not too bad. Would the swelling be from the trauma or
is there an infection that is more widespread than just in the wound itself?

I think I am going to go zap it and see if that helps.

Thanks,

Marshall
