Sorry, you are the one that is confusing things. Christiane thought that sodium
was the guilty one. Both Ivan and myself have corrected her as the problem with
salt is the chlorine.

Bicarbonate of soda does not  have chlorine in it. Yet as I reported that HVAC
ARC cs when brought to a normal pH of 7 there occured a parcipate of shinny
silver flakes. I had never seen this before.
