Roger According to Bob's own analysis, he got about 10 ppm of silver and 1.6 ppm of HNO3. Therefore, the CO2 does not seem to eliminate the nitrates. This pretty much confirms the kind of results I got when I tested the arc method. I also tried argon and still got nitric acid. The presence of nitric acid would also explain why there are no particles. Over time even a small amount of nitric acid will dissolve the particles. We have had samples submitted to the lab for analysis where the producer claimed there were particles present when the cs was produced, but were totally ionic when it got here. I have measured pH as low as 2.3 in samples made with the arc process. frank key -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
