Dear All, I am new to colloidal silver, and find its efficacy absolutely amazing.
So far we have used it successfully on an ulcer, shingles, a severely abraded face, acne, sinusitis, sore throat, severe ear infection (in a dog), and seen some improvement in cases of psoriasis, arthritis and candidiasis, tho' we understand the last three are very long jobs. Colloidal silver could be the answer to the non-availability/exorbitant expense of drugs in third world countries like mine - Zimbabwe - IF we can produce it cheaply enough. However, I am a biologist and would so appreciate any information on HOW colloidal silver works. I gather it interferes with the respiratory enzymes of bacteria (prokatyotes) but how does it affect eukaryotic cells? And why, if it destroys eukaryotic cells of eg fungi, parasitic worms, doesn't it affect our own (eukaryotic) cells? Can anyone help and/or refer me to papers on this? Thank you Jan Carew. PS.
