Hi, Jan,

HOW colloidal silver works."

That is the principal unknown in the issue. The mechanism -- for which
there are several theories -- has not been determined.

Dr. [Robert O.] Becker, who may be the singular researcher responsible for
the resurgent interest in colloidal silver [by extrapolation] published a
paper in January 2000 in "Electro- and
Magneto-Biology" in which the ability of electrically induced silver ions to
stimulate stem cell and fibroblast growth in situe. This, together with its
benign interaction with 'normal' mammalian cells, helps to characterize the
qualities of CS that make it so valuable.

The much too little legitimate research into CS is due to 'scientific' and
'official' scepticism. And this is due to the lack of consistent [even
minimal] quality of commercial products that have opportunistically
capitalized on the small body of legitimate research that does exist....

Anything you can add to the enquiry ....would be helpful.

Stephen
