Evening Al,
That is an interesting situation you have. You are lucky you have a
rational doctor.
>>the transit times of my digestive process had not been so fast. IE: the
CS is still active by the time it gets to my intestines so it kills everything.
What quantity do you take?
>> Can anyone recommend a good probiotic???? I have heard so many
stories of high priced probiotics that are basically dead, that I though I
would turn to the experts. What do you guys use/recommend for a probiotic???
One of the products I use has a number of probiotic cultures.
The container states "4 billion per gram" at time of manufacture. This
sounds like they the number may decline with time.
The heading states......
Lactabacillus Probiotic Culture....... 200mg.
Under that heading are the following. ( no individual quantity )
L. Acidophilus L. Bulgaris L. Bifidus
L. Lactis L. Rhamnosus L. Casei
L. Plantarum L. Brevis L. Salivarius
Surely the combination is good for something. Actually, I did not even buy
the product for this
component as it contains 24 other ingredients.
This product is simply called a "GreenFoods" formula and states that it is
Phytonutrient Rich.
Another name that must be used if you use their search is "Green Max Powder".
If you compare it with others, you may find some better or some with less
items.
It is reasonably priced. On the website it is shown at $ 11.00 for 300
grams. When I called to place the oder, I was told it was $ 15.00 but I
got it for the web site price.
Just checked and the web site price is still $11.95. I may order a few
containers before they change the price.
Take a look at ...... http://www.swansonvitamins.com/ ( their site is
working a bit lousy, so it may be hard to find )
I think this is a decent product. I use the suggested amount of 1 tbs per
day added to my daily protein drink. Also add 2 tbs whipping cream and 2
tbs of flax oil Plus about 12 ounces of skim milk. The main ingredient is
from Natures Plus. Nature's Plus has some products that might
get your attention as well.
