I do not understand these comments relating to long term holding or storage of materials in the intestinal tract. I went thru a colonestromy {spelling?} a year ago and viewed the tape with MD afterward. Believe me, there was absolutely nothing in the entire length of the maxima cloaca. The screen showed a beautiful coral passageway with the spots where two polyps were removed and also two or three diverticulum,no problem either. I cant speak for the small intestine, however, after drinking the four liters of vile tasting slop and the resultant flushing, I dont believe anything could have remained there. I would recommend this procedure to any person of middle age or older who might think that something may be happening there.
