Aspartame starts to break down at 87 F. I read a very long item on it several years ago when I was drinking diet Pepsi. I drank that stuff for 7 years. I had a lot of different side affects from it. Headaches, stiff joints, cataracts, at 45 years old. That stuff is a real killer, and don't let anybody tell you any different. By the way, it's also very hard to get unaddicted from it.
