We are doing some home remodeling. After tearing wallpaper off of a sheetrocked soffets near the ceiling in our kitchen, we discovered large areas of black mold growing behind the wallpaper, undoubtedly resulting from an upstairs bathroom leak around a bathtub drain years ago. I am concerned about the health threat posed by this mold as I have read some nationally published articles on homes becoming downright toxic because of interior mold.
My question: Will spraying these moldy areas with colloidal silver kill the mold which is growing there?
