Robb:

So sorry to hear about this little guy!

Go to http://www.wt.com.au/~pkolb/buteyko.htm

I know of quite a few Asthmatics who stuck with the Buteyko
excercises and were able to get off all medications. I suffered
from stress induced chronic hyperventilation (deep-breathing) with
attacks lasting for days, waking up in the middle of the night
gulping for air. I was plagued by severe headaches, chronic fatigue,
muscle pain. The Buteyko excercises helped me get my life
back. I do have relapses once in a while when things become
hectic, but it's easy to get back on track now.

A healthy individual should be able to hold the breath comfortably
for about 45-60 seconds. If you're time is way below that,
you might want to check out the Buteyko method.

Best wishes,

Sonja

  Subject: CS>Asthma

Hi everyone.........My girlfriend has an 8 year old son who had previously
been doing very well with his Asthma but he went in the hospitol yesterday and
almost died. She had taken him off all his Steroids about 6 months ago.....and
he has been on MSM, CS, and vitamin D since then, and as I said he was doing
very well. I suspect that the Halloween candy this past week had alot to do
with his attack. I had told her NOT to let him have it but she says, "its not
easy just telling one of your kids that they can't have anything like everyone
else is"........but now he is in the icu. I really would appreciate any advice
anyone can give that may be effective against asthma, or controlling it.
Thanks in advance......Robb
