Utopia has a pretty good deal on CS and the quality is probably very good, but bear in mind that the CS they sell is NOT made by the generator they sell. [they bought that HVAC generator from someone else] The LVDC generator they sell for $35 is about the least sophisticated one that can be made. [not overpriced, just very limited in function.] It'll work with some care and a lot of attention and even do a decent job up to 5 or 10 PPM. But without buying a $50 meter or hooking up a current meter and do some math, you'll never have any sort of idea about what PPM you made or be able to repeat a good batch if you buy new water. Timing a batch from the start to predict PPM simply doesn't work. Depending on the water, going from 0 PPM to 1 PPM could take only a minute or it could take an hour and everything works on a constant acceleration basis like falling off a cliff.
Timing from first sign of activity will do better but you probably will still be way off. [not that actual PPM within some range matters all that much] Ken At 12:46 PM 12/26/2002 -0500, you wrote: >Thank you....
