Me too. Sorry about that Chuck. It's easier to answer when the hard choice isn't really mine. Since I'm safe here in the States, I think the logical choice would be to defend themselves by firing on enemy forces whether or not they also kill those poor shields. I know they don't want to but it's a matter of survival.
