In regard to recommendations to filter CS if it gets some flakes in it, I
tested some DW with my Hanna PWT, ran the DW through a coffee filter, and
re-measured. Apparently 3 uS of something was added to the DW by the coffee
filter. I'd think this might very well include dioxin or other bleaching
agents and chemicals?
  Since all that is in my CS is DW and silver otherwise, it seems better to
me to not filter, even if occasionally there are a few little flakes. I like
the let settle and decant idea better, or else my own idea of not worrying
about a few flakes and teensy particles at all, if the CS is clear.
