My cataract story. At my bi-annual eye exam a few years ago, I was
referred to a specialist as my optometrist found the beginnings of a
cataract in one eye. Specialist confirmed it, said I was a bit young but
not too unusual for them to be starting to form.
I had eaten dairy foods heavily all my life, but had been lactose
intolerant for a few years, but just used the lactase enyzme and went on
indulging. The problem got worse, and I had to give up all milk products
entirely. Later I read that dairy consumption is implicated in some
cataracts, and the enzyme actually gets into the lens of the eye further
causing cataracts. I don't know, but at my next eye exam having been
completely dairy and lactase enzyme free for over about a year and a
half, the beginning cataract was gone, vanished.
Weird, huh?

I thought it to be a protein problem and poor drainage. Not a
protein deficiency, but improperly formed protein.
Some serious body chemistry is out of whack. Many people have eye
problems or one sort or the other.
