Not sure if my earlier message got through. The dark coloured
bottles/jars are to keep photo sensitive liquids, (for lack of a better
word) from "spoiling"; thus, using amber or cobalt blue containers.
However, as mentioned can be kept in a clear glass jar in a cupboard
away from "light" I would gather this means "sunlight" but suppose any
light is best to be safe.
I don't have proof that keeping CS in high density plastic containers
will affect the CS. I use grade 2 plastic bottles for distilled water or
spring water because this plastic doesn't leach chemicals; Although, it
is recommended to change every year. I have bought CS from people who
have given it to me in semi transparent gallon plastic and if I am not
mistaken over a two week period noticed the CS darken somewhat. It was
opaque to begin with and went more towards yellow. Glass is always best.
I will be receiving 1 quart/litre amber plastic bottles to temp store
the CS which I make for short term use. I can't imagine seepage of CS
into the plastic over one weeks time providing the the grade of plastic
is high quality.

Does anyone on here have experience with high quality plastic coloured
bottles of a pharmaceutical grade?

Regards Ernie

Subject: CS>Green wine bottle OK for CS?

Will this keep out sunlight to guard the CS?

How about one gallon plastic milk jugs?

Thanks
