Is there a reason why the fda would outlaw Red Yeast if
it helps? Is this for monetary reasons as well?

   It works very well.

I had a young friend in Atlanta, a few years back whose cholesterol was a bit high. He was walking 25 miles per week and could bench press 300 pounds, Very Active, and not exactly the time bomb the doctor suggested.

I sent him some of the Red Rice Yeast product.

He took it for a month, lowered his cholesterol 100 points. Then he went back to the doctor and did not tell him that he had not taken the prescribed medication.

Not sure what he accomplished by doing this or why? He works in a side arm of the medical profession so I guess he was playing games.
