Do you have any additional informaton on that, or a url that discusses it?  I
believe that after ionization, the calcium is going to be calcium hydroxide.
Before ionization it is most likely calcium carbonate.  In either case if I add
cirtic acid to the water, it should become calcium citrate.  I wonder if that
would be a good idea to make it absorbable.  Now citric acid, although an acid,
alkalanizes the body if I remember right, so that should not cancel the
alkalinization effects of the ionized water.
