Linseed oil that is "boiled" is flax oil that has had "Japan Dryers" added to make it dry when used in the wood staining/painting/Art trades;and is poisonous.Why it is called boiled I can't remember now;so long ago. As a teen-ager I can remember the folks getting the un-boiled Linseed oil from the store to use internally. Harold
