Angel. Thats normally correct for good CS made with pure water, but the CS I used was triple brewed so although it was pretty clear it had a lot more oxide particles than is usually recommended, and then it was mixed in with a lot of 'impurities'.. i.e. the dissolved Xanthan Gum. I must admit I dont know if it was the triple brewing or the mixing with Xanthan that increased the photo sensitivity. Probably both. (An interesting test would be to mix good clear cs with plain tap water and see if that makes it more photosensitive. So simple I should have thought of it earlier.)
Being for topical use I wasn't particularly worried about the color.
