I have a medical grade ozone machine (Plasmafire).  I put a hot cloth over the affected area, put the leg in a heavy plastic bag that came with the machine, put the end hose supplying ozone in the bag, pulled off hot cloth
which is to open pores to allow greater penetration of ozone into area.

Then tied off top of bag above the knee area which allows the bag to fill with ozone.
After 30 to 45 min, take leg out of bag and apply ozonated oil.
