Well Ruth,

With a mouthful of silver crowns you shouldn't need CS one would think. The
mercury amalgam fillings are so toxic that most dentists do not use them
anymore and everyone that I know that has had theirs removed has had a marked
improvement in their overall health and usually a definite memory gain.

On the other hand, pulling all of them has very few benefits. Yes, you get to
take them out to brush without stretching your mouth all out-of-whack. But,
the gums will stay sore for quite some time, in most cases, until the 'contact
points' get callused. And then there is the hassle of having to do without
while they are being repaired/replaced.

And then there is the 'goop' that holds them in place. Have you ever tried it?

I am in favor of keeping whatever you can with either gold or silver crowns to
replace amalgam fillings.
